My name is Dr. Erika Holiday and I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I have worked in the field of mental health for the past 9 years in diverse mental health settings. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults in individual, couples, family and group modalities.
I am open to working with people of any age who are looking to grow and experience a stronger sense of self, inner calm, peacefulness and happiness. I will work with you to help you find meaning in all your experiences. I seamlessly integrate a number of therapeutic approaches to promote healing. I view life's challenges as an opportunity for personal growth.
I specialize in areas of relationship issues, women's and adolescent girls issues, grief and loss and mood and anxiety disorders. I also have experience working with victims of crime, eating disorders, substance abuse and self-esteem issues. My goal is to listen and offer a guiding hand as you seek out alternative ways to understand and respond to different challenges in your life.
I serve as co-host of a weekly radio program in Los Angeles (Full Circle, KCSN - 88.5 FM) and I teach undergraduate sociology and graduate level psychology classes. I am a professional speaker and I also conduct professional workshops which focus on creating and maintaining healthy relationships. I am also co-author of the book "Mean Girls, Meaner Women: Understanding why women backstab, betray and trashtalk each other and how to heal."
